14th Meeting of the National Network for Open Administration

To continue to meet and respond to the proposed objectives, past Friday 19th March the National Network for Open Administration held its XIV Meeting. The meeting was attended by the Secretary of State for Innovation and Administrative Modernization, Maria de Fátima Fonseca, and all members of the Network, except for the representatives of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and the Council of Rectors of Portuguese Universities.
Apart from the reception of the participants and opening of the session, the agenda was divided into three key topics: the first topic was aimed at presenting the summary of the results of the Co-creation Sessions, held between the 3rd and 11th of March. The results were presented based on the thematic division of the sessions, namely: Universal, accessible and inclusive public services; Promoting resilience and sustainability of entrepreneurs and enterprises; Transparency, good management of public funds and fighting corruption; Open data and access to information. Soon the summary report of results will be published here on the OGP Portugal portal. The second topic aimed to focus on the work that will be developed in the next phases of the plan, specifically, the formulation and structuring of commitments, as well as planning the activities to be developed during the Open Gov Week 2021. The third and last topic addressed the Independent Evaluation Mechanism (IRM) and note the work that is being developed by the independent researcher, assigned to OGP.
Finally, the next steps were determined and the date was set for the XV Meeting, which will be held on 30 April, with the agenda still to be determined
